I don’t get much chance to practice photography these days so it’s nice to 16 minutes to use up the drone battery 🙂 The autumn light has been amazing the last few weeks and although I just missed the peak colours here, I’m glad that I could get out a little bit, even if it’s just a few shots taken from the back yard.

Three days in California before a work trip full of meetings meant a rented Mustang convertible and miles of highway into the Californian desert. Ticked of a bucket list item of driving on Route 66; one day I hope to drive its entirety.
Fasnacht hit the Basel region this weekend and therefore it was a good reason to leave it! So for 36 hours we had a weekend away at Konstanz on the Bodensee, visiting the Sea Life centre and Insel Mainau. Next time we’ll have to stay a bit longer, and when it’s a but warmer!
